Macy Tarrant

Pre-Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

I believe therapy is for learning more about yourself and the experiences that make up who you are. I enjoy working with college students, athletes, women, LGBTQ+ individuals and people struggling with grief, transitions, anxiety, romantic and familial relationships issues, confidence, athletics, and identity. I look to dive deeper into the person you are and how you got here to then understand how to overcome some of the struggles you are dealing with while providing a safe and non-judgemental environment for you to learn more about yourself. I employ techniques from many different theories such as psychodynamic, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you gain insight into your experiences and help move forward.
