Pre-Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

I am a Pre-Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and current graduate student in the Simmons School of Social Work. The vast majority of my clinical experience is in data-driven Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Problem Solving Therapy, as well as Play Therapy and Expressive Therapy. I have many other tools in my clinical toolbox and seek to tailor therapy to best meet the needs of the person I am working with, including goal-oriented therapy, social-emotional learning, executive functioning skills, and many others.

My clinical philosophy is rooted in Humanism, and I value working with each person to grow on their own terms and in their own way. I believe all behavior is adaptive, and that all people have strengths and are capable of change. I am fascinated by the way people grow and change over time, from childhood to adulthood. I am most passionate in working with clients as they move through different phases of their life, from childhood to young adulthood.
