Amanda Mackey

Pre-Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves, exploring what they are experiencing, and working toward the changes that are meaningful to them.

My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and mental health concerns among athletes. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, meaning that I view therapy as a collaborative process and recognize that each person brings their own experiences, abilities, values, and goals into the therapeutic relationship. I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring treatment to the individual, with the goal of helping clients develop practical coping strategies, deepen their understanding of themselves, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

Most importantly, I want clients to feel heard, respected, and accepted. Therapy does not require having everything figured out before you begin. My role is to meet clients where they are and work alongside them at a pace that feels supportive and productive.
